12.0mm Super D – Dreighton Stoub Signature Series – MODIFIED TUNING ROTOR

Fantom team driver Dreighton Stoub, a.k.a. Super D, is one of the most recognizable names in the world, in R/C off-road racing.  With 4 ROAR National Championships and countless other championships under his belt, he came to us with an idea to start offering the same motors and servos that he uses.  We didn’t hesitate.  After many hours of testing motor setups and different servos, we are proud to introduce our new line of Super D – Dreighton Stoub Signature Series modified motors and servos.

The Super D line of modified motors (including rotors available separate) includes a 6.0 turn, used by Dreighton in his 4wd cars, and a 7.0 turn that he uses in his 2wd cars.  Dreighton has world-class driving skills, so we had to come up with motors that met his high standards for great feel, power delivery, usable torque, speed, and the lowest lap times possible.  Both of our new Super D 6.0T and 7.0T motors are set up and tuned exactly how Dreighton runs them!  Put a Super D motor in your car today and see what it feels like to run what a champion uses!

What’s Different with the Super D rotors?  They are produced with Dreighton’s preferred magnet material (different than our standard 12.0mm rotor) for great feel, power delivery, usable torque, and top-end speed.

This is an optional size rotor that fits all Fantom modified motors.

All Fantom rotors are guaranteed to meet our strict standards, regardless if the “Rotor Strength Test Option” is chosen or not.

IMPORTANT: We use our Fantom Facts Machine v3 to test our rotors.  It is important to know that there is no standard in the RC industry for testing brushless rotors.  There are numerous testers on the market, including the Trinity, MMS and others, that all provide different information.  The information can vary greatly.  For example, one company’s meter may read 1500 for a rotor, where our meter may read it as 1400.  You can feel confident that our testing equipment is built to the highest standards and provides the most accurate readings in RC.

OPTIONAL SERVICE & UPGRADE DETAILS:

Rotor Strength Test Option – With this option the rotor’s magnetic field strength is tested on our Fantom Facts Machine-3 rotor tester and the results are provided.
